Once upon a time there was a thing called listserv... Since twitter has become an unstable resource with account erosion for obvious causes, it has lost suitablity as a scientific / educational post repository in the active (content-providing accts) and passive (acct. subscribing accts) modes of use. There are no other antisocial media on scope which keep their users posting - useful content as well as personal opinions on the bad and the ugly. In July 2019, formerly-known gab.ai got a bright workaround using some pretty open code to ceate the first social medium in mankind. So, I decided to let the twitter account in the mode they want it and to push gab into the realms of ordinary mainstream people. A pretty nice function of gab is to post things into groups so users will not get the whole spectrum a single account posts, only those things which appear specifically posted into a group by many on-topic accounts.

My thing is to post pretty free papers with edu/foamed appeal directly from monthly pmcentral (pubmed central) searches run on my moremed.org system.

Here are my on-topic groups:

  • Head Diseases anything supramental neurology psychiatry neurosurgery orl opthalmology neuoophthalmology dental psychology dementia and so on
  • Thoracic Diseases thoracic disease pulmology cardiology angiology coagulation
  • Abdominal Diseases gastroenterology hepatology and pancreatic diseases}
  • Nephrology Anything relevant in practical and experimental nephrology, kidney anatomy and physiology for the nephrologist, researcher and health professional. Being prepped to continue the glomer message once twitter has deleted all of us; Urology,Gynecology,Rheumatology
  • Oncology Cell Biology Immunology oncology cancer oncoimmunology immunology cell biology rna microrna mdsc tumor microenvironment stat3 emt
  • GP Pediatrics Pharmacology useful to the general practitioner, pediatrics and pharmacology
  • Medicine, other topics radiology, ultrasound, pathology, physiology, dermatology, traumatology and so on

  • Science Post science. Articles from scientific journals best. Aggregate sites of world's universities, corporations, and government published studies that have citations are just as good. YouTube instructional videos by vetted teachers encouraged. Paranormal research welcome.
  • Science anything science

  • Use moremed.org to run pretty pubmed, pmcentral searches - and many journal hosts, too.
